What is an Electoral Roll?
The Electoral Roll, commonly known as the voter list, is the official list of people eligible to vote in a specific constituency.
2
Why it matters
Having a Voter ID is not enough. Your name MUST be on the electoral roll of your polling booth for you to be allowed to cast your vote.
3
Updating the Roll
The ECI continuously updates the roll to add new voters, remove deceased voters, and update addresses (using Form 8).
