The Process
After polling, EVMs are sealed and stored in strong rooms under heavy security. On counting day, the seals are broken in the presence of candidate representatives.

Tabulation
The votes recorded in the EVMs are counted systematically. VVPAT slips may also be counted to cross-verify the EVM results.

Transparency
Counting is conducted by Returning Officers under the supervision of ECI Observers to ensure absolute transparency.
